FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Is someone available to meet with me at my property?

We have evening appointments available Monday through Friday and accept appointments all day on Saturday. If those times do not work with your schedule, other arrangements can be made. Please contact us and we can schedule a time to learn about your project.

Do you charge for designs and estimates?

We offer a free initial consultation at your property to gather information about your project and for you to learn more about our company. We would love to see the pictures, materials, ideas, colors, etc. that inspired your project. We would also appreciate a copy of your plot plan at this time.

Each project and property have unique features that need to be addressed to have a completed project that will last and function as intended. The design addresses these issues before the project begins, saving time and money in the long run. Due to the knowledge, experience, and time required to complete a design and select the appropriate materials for the project, we do charge a fee for our design services. If we are constructing your project, design fee is included in the estimate. Landscape design services and designs may also be purchased separate from construction services. The landscape designer can give you the cost of your design at the initial consultation.

How much do you charge?

The starting price for our projects with labor, materials, and equipment is $3,500. Our projects run on average in the $5,000 to $50,000 or more range. We would love to meet with you to provide an estimate detailing the cost of your project.

How long will the design and estimate take?

We complete all designs and estimates on a first come, first served basis. The length of time from initial consultation to the presentation of the design and estimate is dependent on the complexity of the project and research required. This can vary from 1 to 6 weeks.

How soon can you start after I sign the contract?

We schedule projects in the order in which we receive the signed landscape contract. While we make every effort to maintain that schedule, uncontrollable events, like weather, can cause delays. We will give you a realistic time frame at the initial consultation and update you prior to your start date should any delays occur.

Who works on my project?

Our landscape designer is the first person to work on your project. Once construction begins, our landscape professionals take over to build your design. The landscape designer works with the crew foreman to make sure the project is progressing as designed and scheduled. We only hire subcontractors for projects that require specialized trades such as custom ironwork, electrical, or irrigation that our employees cannot complete.

What industry certifications do you have?

We have earned several industry certifications and licenses as part of our commitment to keep up with the latest technology, processes, and regulations. Further information can be found at Our Certifications

Can you provide me with proof of Liability and Workmens Comp insurance?

Yes. We can provide you with an insurance certificate verifying our coverage. For greater peace of mind during our time on your property, we can even add you as an endorsement to our insurance policy.

How long have you been in business? Where are you located?

We began serving landscape design and installation clients in April of 1997 from an office in Dowagiac, MI. In January of 2014 we moved to our current location, 308 Bell Rd., Niles, MI 49120.

Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on your work?

We offer warranties on the materials and workmanship as described in the contract for the project. The landscape designer can provide further information at the initial consultation.

What kind of landscape work do you do?

We offer landscape design and installation services for Hardscape, Water, Lighting, and Planting projects. We will be your partner through the entire design and construction process from the initial consultation to the final walk-through. We also offer restoration, rejuvenation, and a limited number of maintenance services for these types of projects.
