Landscape Craftsman requires a minimum of 2 years experience working on landscape projects. You must also demonstrate a 70% or more mastery of the skills needed to complete hardscape, water, lighting, and planting projects. We will consider relevant skills and experience gained from the building trades or farm/agricultural jobs towards the minimum requirements.
As Landscape Craftsman you will gain the skills to become the right-hand man to the Landscape Foreman. You will take responsibility for some parts of a landscape project as you continue to develop your skills as a landscaper. Landscape Craftsman is for both those that want to stay in place as right-hand men and those that want to move into project management/leadership.
Here are the skills we expect you to have on day one:
- 2 years experience and/or a great starting package of skills
- Knowledge of and able to implement the processes to complete components of landscape projects
- Able to adjust to new processes and learn their required skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively with others
- Able to learn company culture and apply it each day at the job site
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass a physical to get a medical card for driving company vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
